To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Paul Scheunchen Ferdy, of San Francisco, in the county of San Francisco and State of California, have invented a new and Improved Mustache-Shaper, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.
This invention has for its object to provide means by which a mustache may be easily and quickly shaped; and the invention consists in certain features of construction, which will be fully described hereinafter, and defined in the claim.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part of this specification, in which similar characters of reference indicate corresponding parts in all the figures.
The invention consists in a band of flexible material having two layers
In using the invention the mustache is dampened and the band placed over the mustache, as shown in
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent—
A mustache-shaper consisting in a flat flexible band formed of two layers of material, the ends of which are turned in and stitched together, and an elastic loop at each end of the band, each loop being passed between the end portions of the material and having one portion lying snugly against the inner faces of the layers and the elastic loops projecting from the band at the side edges thereof whereby the bands are held open to readily engage the ears of the person using the mustache-shaper.
Paul Scheunchen Ferdy.
